Otherwise, it gets stuck near the end, and eventually counts backwards and never finishes.ĪLSO the app has to actually stay open and visible on screen for anything to happen. Update: the ONLY way I can get 'auto upload' to upload new photos that I've taken on the iPhone is to delete the app and re-install and force it to rescan everything. Not to mention the extraordinary fast drain on my battery. Note in OP it said "3748 of 4261" and now it says "3834 of 4236" (down from 3839 since I wrote the above sentence 2 minutes ago). *The total # of photos has decreased since I opened this topic, too.and I haven't taken or deleted more photos since then. The uploadr got to under 90 photos ""to be processed " then it got stuck again, and then I watched it count backwards down several hundred.Ĭurrently, it's stuck at "Uploadr processing 3839 of 4236" and going backwards by 5 or 10 photos at a clip. SO - I deleted the app and reinstalled again and kept even a closer eye on it. HOWEVER, when I awoke this morning, the counter of # of photos "processed" has decreased! I was around "Uploadr processing 3869 of 4261." *I took notice that it was not the same number as where it was stuck last night. Last I checked before I went to bed, the message was something like, "Uploadr processing 4150 of 4261." I took that an indication that all was resolved after the app reinstall. I kept an eye on it - newer photos after May 13 were uploaded, so that' was a good sign, although I don't know if all of them uploaded (I didn't manually compare).

Good grief, it has been a long day full of dealing with problems:)) Sorry, Darren, I totally missed it was the iPhone. Hi Carol - I'm not talking about the New Uploadr for the desktop.I'm just talking about the auto-upload setting on the iPhone app where it automatically uploads any photos I take on the iPhone. After reading everything in the HF, I will continue on my merry way of uploading a few photos at the time on the old uploadr. I was thinking of deleting and reinstalling the app next, but will that screw things up where the photos already taken will not upload? I don't want to have a gap in my auto-back-up.Īny ideas? Anyone else having this problem?ĭarren, I am too afraid to try the new uploadr and have tried nothing on it nor installed it. I've restarted, rebooted.I checked the account on my desktop (it's a different account than the one I'm writing this from) and I have plenty of available space. There's a spinning progress circle in the upper left, I can click it and it says "Uploadr processing 3748 of 4261" as if it's in progress, but it's clearly stuck (has been for days). No photos from my iPhone have been uploaded since then. I have auto-upload enabled on my iPhone 6, and everything has been going fine until May 14.
